3 Nov Launch is still 19 November — single-player only, pre-load opens on the 12thConfirmed →
Nothing has moved. GTA VI is due on 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Rockstar’s store listing has digital pre-load opening on 12 November. Physical copies ship as a download code in the box, according to Rockstar Support.
The part to know before you plan a crew night: Take-Two’s pre-order announcement describes GTA VI as a single-player experience at launch. No online mode has been dated. Twitch’s CEO reportedly said in a September interview that he expected multiplayer the year after launch — that is his expectation, not a Rockstar announcement, so it stays a rumour here until Rockstar says otherwise.
Still no PC date.
27 Aug The Extended Look aired on Netflix — what it did and did not settleConfirmed →
Rockstar premiered GTA VI: An Extended Look on Netflix, then put it up on its own YouTube channel and the GTA VI site six hours later. Hands-on previews followed.
The firmest technical detail to come out of them: Rockstar North’s Rob Nelson said the console builds currently run at 30 frames per second, which leaves the question of PS5 Pro enhancements open.
Still unannounced after all of it: a PC release date, and any date at all for online play.
27 Aug Still no PC release date: what we know about the console-first windowConfirmed →
Launch is 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. No PC date has been announced. Rockstar's pattern with recent titles has been a console window followed by PC later, but they have not committed to that here and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If you are on PC, plan for it not being day one.
26 Aug Emblem sizing guide — how to draw a mark that survives being shrunk to a map iconGuide →
The single most common mistake is designing at 1000 pixels and never checking at 32. A mark that reads beautifully on your monitor turns into grey mush on a map blip. Test at three sizes before you commit: full size, roughly 120px for a card, and 32px for an icon. If it fails at 32, it fails. Two colours beats six. One heavy shape beats four thin ones. Avoid text under 40px entirely — nobody can read a crew name at icon size and trying costs you the silhouette.
25 Aug Leaked footage is circulating again. Why none of it will be posted herePolicy →
Unauthorised material has been going round since early August. It will not be hosted, embedded, linked or described in detail on this site. This is a practical position more than a moral one: sites that traffic in leaked material get taken down, and this one is meant to still exist in November. Posting it in the boards is one of the three rules that skips straight to removal.
24 Aug Naming your crew: what tends to age badly, and the three-word ruleGuide →
Names built on a current meme are dead in four months. Names built on a place, a trade or a piece of geography last. Keep it to two or three words — anything longer gets truncated everywhere it matters and shortened into something you did not choose. Say it out loud before you commit. If it is awkward in voice chat you will be renaming it by December.
22 Aug Pre-orders are open on consoleConfirmed →
Pre-orders are open on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
We have not independently verified what separates the editions, so check the store listing itself before paying for an upgrade, and treat third-party breakdowns with caution until Rockstar publishes its own.
20 Aug Every location named so far, and what is still a guessGuide →
Rockstar has named the state, Leonida, and a set of regions within it: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.
Everything finer-grained than that — district names, smaller towns, exactly where one region ends and the next begins — is still community inference from trailer footage: vegetation, skyline angles, road markings and the position of the sun. Treat those as guesses until Rockstar names them. Treating a guess as a fact is how fan maps end up wrong for two years.
18 Aug The founding registry opened. How the numbering worksSite →
Crew tags are four characters and there is exactly one of each. They are handed out in the order they are claimed and the founding number never resets, including when the seasonal standings reset every three months. Claiming one requires a free account and takes about thirty seconds. There is no paid tier and there is not going to be one — the design shop funds the site.
